A tribute to John Cann

Most serious reptile enthusiasts know or have heard of John Cann. His father George set up the reptile display at La Perouse and for many years it has been a weekly event. John has now decided to retire from snake handling. The 7.30 Report on the ABC had an interview with John on Tuesday 13th of April and here is the link to the story on the ABC website:
John's contribution to Australian herpetology is substantial. He will be best remembered for his superb and definitive book on Australian tortoises. Unfortunately we cannot offer a copy for this promotion. However we do have a small number of copies of his charming book Snakes alive! at the substantially reduced prive of $15.
